Uncle Jimmy, Elder Care or Elder Abuse

As an active duty member of the U. S. Navy, I was often on deployment, or living abroad.  I was forced to watch my Uncle Jimmy's final days from a distance. After his passing, extraordinary evidence of misconduct was revealed. As I researched his case, what surprised me most was not that a few individuals acted badly, but the vast number of people who stood by idly when he really needed their help. Sadly, the conditions he endured are not unique. These crushing revelations inspired me to write this book with the hope that I can help others avoid this fate.
